Latrobe High School

1480 WCNS provides play-by-play broadcasts of Greater Latrobe Area High School football, basketball, and wrestling competitions. Each game is fed to the MSA Internet site to be archived.  These archives are available through the MSA Sports Network website over any standard Internet connection.  If you live outside of our primary signal area or if you want to replay the broadcast at a later date, go to the MSA Sports Network website.  This is great for Latrobe natives who have moved away and for out-of-town friends and relatives who wish to follow Greater Latrobe Area High School sports!

St. Vincent College Football & Basketball

 Tune in to 1480 WCNS and Red Zone Media to hear all the action as Coach Bob Colbert's Bearcats take to the field for their 2nd year of NCAA Division III college football this fall. 
 

Don't miss our coverage of coach D.P. Harris's Basketball team this year. St. Vincent College Bearcats Basketball games can be heard live on 1480 WCNS.  Games are fed to the Red Zone Media and are available on the Internet for replay.

Pittsburgh Pirate baseball games are broadcast on WCNS radio. (Check the Pirates Website for the schedule.) WCNS also plays "From the Ballpark," a brief Pirate report following the 8 am news starting at spring training and running through the post-season. Announcers include Lanny Frattare, Greg Brown, Bob Walk, Steve Blass, and John Wehner. Tune into 1480 WCNS to hear these legends call the play-by- play and add color commentary.

Pittsburgh Steelers football games are broadcast on 1480 WCNS (Check the Steeler Website for the schedule).  Each week, WCNS starts with the pre-game show, followed by the play-by-play with Bill Hillgrove, Tunch Ilkin, and Craig Wolfley.  Stay tuned for the post-game show.
