At the top of the hour we broadcast a CNN national & world update followed by the WCNS Local Regional Report anchored mornings for 26 years by our own Dow Carnahan.

Our other reporters are Chuck Campbell, Dan Waters and Kevin Harrison. We have collaborations with the Latrobe Bulletin, the Metro Source statewide network and the National Weather Service.

To enhance our news gathering capability we have special arrangements with local emergency officials & educators assuring listeners of timely accurate information so school delays & cancellations are broadcast promptly as well as Amber Alerts, state and federal emergencies, and severe weather warnings.
