The Longo Media Group, Inc. licensee of radio station
1480 WCNS Latrobe Pa is an equal opportunity employer.
The station has been broadcasting since 1956. It has had
three owners. The current owners, John & Donna Longo
have managed the station since January of 1989. Mr.
Longo was honored with the Pennsylvania Association of
Broadcaster "2000 Broadcaster of the year" and the
Pittsburgh Radio and Television Club's "Art Stein Award"
for exemplary service to the industry.
Internships
The Longo Media Group offers two internships
annually. One for a communications major interested in
programming and the other for a Business/Marketing
major. Each of the internships consists of 8 forty-hour
weeks. The interns gain hands-on experience in a
professional environment.
Only full-time students that have completed their junior
year are eligible for an internship. The Internship must
be for credit. A stipend will be paid providing the
internship is completed satisfactorily.
If interested, students must submit a resume and a cover
letter explaining what you hope to accomplish during the
internship.
