Apprenticeship

1480 WCNS radio in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters is offering a 240 hour paid apprenticeship to a person seeking employment in the industry. This job can be for either broadcasting or business duties related to a radio station serving a local community. There is only one opportunity, so please contact the general manager soon. Internships

The Longo Media Group offers a summer internship.  The internship is intended for a student interested in a broadcasting career. The applicant should be either a broadcast major interested in programming or a business/marketing major. The internship consists of eight 30-hour weeks. The interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in all departments of a professional, full-service community radio station.

 Only full-time students that have completed their junior year are eligible for our internship. The intern must earn school credits. A stipend will be paid providing the internship is completed satisfactorily.

 Students must submit a faculty recommendation, a resume and a cover letter explaining what is hoped to be accomplished during the internship period and why we should select you. Candidates will be interviewed. We also request the school’s documentation requirements.
