CANCELLED DUE TO FEDERAL MILITARY FINANCIAL CUT BACK!

It's back!  The biggest family event of the year: the 2013 WESTMORELAND COUNTY AIR SHOW, this year featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds precision jet team at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport!  The Thunderbirds last appeared over Westmoreland County in 2001, so don't miss their triumphant return!

3.3.13 update

Due to budget cuts the 2013 Westmoreland County Air Show has been canceled.

2.20.13 update

The complete lineup for the Air Show:

  • The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team.

  • The Shockwave Jet Truck.

  • The hilarious Alabama Boys.

  • Wing-walker Jane Wicker.

  • Firebirds Extreme: Rob Holland and Jack Knutson.

  • Matt Younkin in the Twin Beech 18.

  • Matt Chapman in the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagle 580.

 

1.30.13 update

·         The Thunderbirds are celebrating their 60th year performing on behave of the Air force Recruiting.

·         Additional performers are Wing Walker Jane Wicker, Shockwave Triple Engine Jet Truck with 36,000 HP reaching 300 miles per hour.   And the Greg Koontz Comedy Show returns from last year. The fans loved him.

·         Something new about our live coverage, this year the station will broadcast the narrations and the Pilots and crew interviews on our website. Also when you attend the show bring a radio or other electronic device to connect to hear what we have to say.
